MARCELA LORENA SERPA | CREATIVE SPECIALIST
Hi, I’m Marcela. I’m originally from Peru, and I’ve spent nearly 15+ years telling stories through video, photography, and animation. My experience spans editing, directing, producing, and motion design, with projects ranging from branded content to short documentaries.
Currently, I’m a YouTube Video Producer for Men in Blazers and The Women’s Game, creating content that brings fans closer to soccer and the people behind it. My work includes producing and editing interviews, podcasts, live shows, and short-form videos, alongside developing headlines, thumbnails, graphics, and community posts. I think about the full journey of a video: the story we’re telling, how we package it, and what makes someone want to watch, engage, and come back for more.
Along the way, I’ve also become a soccer fanatic. Working across both the men’s and women’s game has deepened my appreciation for the sport, its personalities, and the communities surrounding it. I love finding the moments that connect with fans, whether that’s an honest conversation, a thoughtful insight, or a perfectly timed joke.
I also bring over a decade of photography experience, capturing everything from live events to portraits. I’m drawn to moments that feel real and unforced, the expressions and details that tell a story without needing much explanation.
Animation and motion design give me another way to bring those stories to life, combining design, movement, and personality. My foundation in drawing, painting, and sculpture still shapes how I approach composition, light, emotion, and detail across everything I create.
Whether I’m working independently or collaborating with a team, I bring curiosity, care, and a thoughtful approach to the work. I enjoy shaping an idea, solving creative challenges, and seeing a project through to its final audience.
Outside of work, you’ll probably find me playing the piano, making art, following soccer, or hunting down the best ceviche in town. I’m always up for a good story, a creative challenge, and something delicious on the side.
